SCIA ENGINEER
SCIA Engineer is a Finite element structural Analysis Package which is part of the Nemetschek Group. SCIA ENGINEER is fully integrated with Nemetschek Allplan, producing engineering "Round Trip" functionality, whereby element sizes and reinforcement quantities calculated in SCIA ENGINEER is automatically populated in the Allplan BIM model. This optimises workflow and saves considerable amounts of our Engineering Technicians' precious time.
SCIA ENGINEER itself has an inbuilt powerful 3D modeler. which allows our Engineers to build a 3D structural analysis model within SCIA, which can later be ported to either TEKLA or Nemetschek Allplan for drawing production as required.
SCIA ENGINEER can also import various file formats, IFC, DWG, DFX, SDNF etc. When such information is available from others on a project ahead of structural design, we can utilise such information to speed up the structural design process.
