ALLPLAN
Allplan from Nemetschek AG based in Munich, is Europe’s leading 3D BIM software.
All projects are modeled within our office from Architectural/Engineering drawings or 3D models received. Allplan will import ifc, dwg, dgn, pdf & sketchup filetypes.
On projects where we are appointed to complete Reinforcement detailing, all reinforcing bars will be detailed in 3D in the same Allplan model. This advanced 3D reinforcement detailing is a ground breaking development in this field in the UK. 3D PDF files are available to share with other design disciplines and the site management team to maximise co-ordination issues and minimise disruption during the construction phase.
The reinforcement detailing deliverable's is still in the traditional 2D reinforcement drawings format with bar bending schedules to British and Eurocodes but with the added advantage of a full 3d model of every bar shown on the drawing.
The 3D Allplan model can also be linked to our Engineering design software, such that one central model is used as a basis for all calculation and drawing information issued from our office, thus, improving workflow, productivity and efficiency, whilst reducing interfaces for human error to enter the design/drawing process.
